Let me explain what I mean. A typical blogger would decide to use WordPress as his blogging platform. Although WordPress is free, it's an open-source software that provides you with no direct support channels. You're on your own as far as technical matters are concerned, and the only thing you can fall back on is online documentation and perhaps some kind people at the forum. For the most part however, it's going to be rather difficult for you to grab themes and plugins and put them together to create the type of blog that you really want. There's a big chance you'll get distracted by stuff like hacking codes and tweaking the CSS styles. Here's a tip: Learn to make do with less. Forget the bells and whistles. Writing great content and communicating with readers should be your real focus right from the start. Outsource the technical tasks to someone else and you'll achieve your income goals much faster.
